Tic tack toe - two in a row!

So I know it's three in a row, but like come one. So you don't get confused, this post about finding contact with voygar 2 after 30 long years. With that being said let's float in! Eh? You got it? Nevermind.

Some effort for the voygar!: In March, NASA announced that Deep Space Station 43 (DSS-43) in Australia, the only antenna on Earth that can send commands to Voyager 2, required major upgrades and would need to shut down for about 11 months for the work to be completed.

Away from earth: During this time, Voyager two, which is currently over 18.7 billion kilometers (11.6 billion miles) away from Earth and getting farther all the time, wouldn't be able to receive any communications from Earth, although its own broadcasts back to us would still be received by scientists. In a nutshell, we can't get contact with voygar two, but we still get it's information. Until now.

People to the Voyager!: Last week, mission operators sent their first communications to Voyager 2 since March, giving a series of commands, and NASA reports that Voyager 2 returned a signal confirming it had received the instructions, and carried out the commands without issue. I

Summary: On October 29, 2020, NASA re-established contact with its Voager spacecraft . The probe had been flying solo since March 2020 while repairs were made to the radio antenna in Australia used to control it.

Another post! Wow! There is so much I need to cover. I hope you like this post. Maybe I will do a post Monday morning. Sorry if the picture is glitchy. That's the only size my Ipad lets me do.
