Mushrooms On Mars (False?)

It is said that Mushrooms have been found on Mars. Get one look at the space news people, and that is the only budding thing that you can find. Let's go on a webquest today, debunking some maybe Myths, and also find something new. Let me do the research, and both of us do the learning! Let's dig in!

How was this found? After reading for a bit, in the quotes of C-NET: "No, NASA photos are not evidence of fungus growing on Mars, sorry" Man! I was getting super excited about this, but still, I still want to find a hint to some of these things. Okay, back to the topic. It was a normal day, with the rovers Curiosity and Opportunity searching Mars's surface for twenty five years - until one of the rovers spotted something.

It headed toward it, and took some pictures of the Martian surface. Both of the rovers' purpose was never to find life, however this was still something that they would do. So How was this found? Well, this was found because of two rovers looking over the surface of Mars, and then taking pictures of Mars... So, what exactly are these things?

What are these- Scientist (and many bloggers) believe that these are like mushrooms, forms of fungus, with some photos of them in back and whit, and others showing that the mushrooms were brown...

There is no evidence that mushrooms or any other form of life exists on Mars.

The Mars rover did not take a picture of fungi growing on the planet. And so-called ‘scientists’ did not explain the existence of fungi on Mars in a research paper.

If there are mushrooms on Mars, the people on our planet have yet to uncover any evidence of their existence.

So it's fake. Okay. But still what about the News headlines..

What about the News headlines?

It turns out that all of this is from this research paper. It is said in the research paper that ""mushroom-like"formations approximately 1mm in size are adjacent or attached to these mycelium-like complexes. Additional sequences document that white amorphous masses beneath rock-shelters increase in mass, number, or disappear and that similar white-fungus-like specimens appeared inside an open rover compartment. Comparative statistical analysis of a sample of 9 spherical specimens believed to be fungal "puffballs" photographed on Sol 1145 and 12 specimens that emerged from beneath the soil on Sol 1148 confirmed the nine grew significantly closer together as their diameters expanded and some showed evidence of movement.

The writer of the research paper is often noted as "Unreliable" because he always writes about the same wrong thing OVER and OVER again.

Conclusion

The mushrooms on Mars are fake, to most people, but I am not sold. I think A BIT that it is fake, but still have hope to know if it is reliable. I think we need a part two, getting even deeper into this topic...

STAY BEYOND THE LIMIT!!!!!!!!!
